Family Kept Rare 12th Century Buddha Statue

A family in France had been living for years with a priceless religious artifact from the 12th century and they didn’t even know it. A very rare wood figure of the Guanyin Bodhisattva had been passed down through generations of a family since the 1930s. The statue stands a little over 3 feet tall, but that small height is expected to garner a huge profit when it is sold at auction. Because of its rarity, Bonhams Auction House estimates the carving will sell for about 1 million US dollars.

$1.8 Million Ferrari Recreated in Legos

A life-sized Ferrari Monza SP1 is now parked at Denmark’s Legoland theme park, but under its hood, you won’t find a 6.5L naturally aspirated V12 engine. It took 339 days for Lego crafts people to build this replica in the Czech Republic.

With the help of Ferrari designers, they used 383,610 Lego bricks and a lot of imagination. The real Ferrari Monza SP1 is not street legal in the United States, and prices start around $1.8 million for the limited run of 499 cars.
