Ten years after Quantum Break first blinked into existence in 2016, the poor completionist is still discovering that one innocent difficulty click can snowball into a second full campaign. The good news? No story content changes across difficulties—only combat math shifts. Junction choices, live-action episodes, and narrative branches remain stubbornly identical whether Jack is playing on Easy, Normal, or Hard. The bad news? 'The Hard Way' achievement is a picky little gremlin, and it only cares about a full Hard run. A casual Normal playthrough will not unlock it, and mid-campaign difficulty switches will not retroactively save the day. The difficulty menu is less a personality quiz and more a commitment device.
