- This is the most attention-grabbing car I've ever driven!
Meet the Human Horizons HiPhi Z!
It’s an all-new luxury car that’s come straight from China, and it’s absolutely loaded with tech. What’s more, it looks unlike any car we’ve seen before! But is it more style over substance?
Well when it comes to the design, this is easily one of the most eye-catching cars we’ve ever driven! The outside of the car is covered in thousands of LED lights, that make it possible to show images & text at either the front, side, or rear of the car! It also comes with elements of purple trim which help it to stand out even more, and the front of the car is covered in a number of aggressively-styled vents and aero bits. If anything, it’s giving us some GT-R vibes!
Step inside and the luxury vibes are clear to see. There are soft-touch materials throughout, and the seats are super comfortable and come with massage functions. There’s also a massive infotainment screen up front, which is used to control nearly everything in this car. But thankfully, it’s super fast and comes with great graphics. It even adjusts itself to be pointing at the driver depending on the position of your seat!
So while the car is packed full of tech, it’s a much simpler story when it comes to the engine. The HiPhi Z comes with just one battery and motor combo - dual electric motors and a 120kWh battery which are good for 672hp and 820Nm along with a range of up to 438 miles.
So it’s oh-so eye-catching, and so is the price! The HiPhi Z starts from around £90,000. But given it looks so unique, is it clearly worth it? You’ll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself!

Mat’s visited the Petersen Car Museum in LA, and he’s going to build his dream car garage!
There is a crazy amount of cars at this museum, with the total value of all cars on show going north of one BILLION dollars! But with so many cars on show, which will he choose to add to his garage?
Well he’s going to look through a whole host of different types of cars, from Tesla Cybertruck & Roadster prototypes, through to cars owned by celebrities such as Steve McQueen and Slash from Guns ’n’ Roses!
But that’s not all! It wouldn’t be a car museum without some classic, ultra-rare & ultra-expensive classic cars!
The question is, has Mat chosen well? Or would you have added something else instead? Let us know in the comments!

Meet the new Corvette Z06!
It’s the hardcore, track-focused version of the regular C8 Corvette, and Mat’s about to find out just what’s changed over the standard car.
Starting with the design, there’s more than just some new badging to help the Z06 stand out from the regular C8. Up front there are some bigger air intakes (to help cool the bigger radiators) along with a larger, protruding splitter. Along the side the wheel arches stick out further to help house the larger & wider wheels, while there’s also extended side skirts and bigger air intakes. Then around the back, the twin tailpipes from the C8 have been brought together to make quad tailpipes in the centre of the car, and a gurney flap has also been added to the rear spoiler.
It’s a different story on the inside, though, with only a handful of changes to be found. The steering wheel now comes with Z06 badging, and it’s possible to upgrade it to include some carbon fibre. Some new figure-hugging sports seats have been added, and there are Z06 kick plates on either side… But that’s your lot! Otherwise, it’s the same as the regular C8.
But of course, the biggest change comes with the engine. Despite the Z06 having a smaller-sized engine than the C8 (with the 6.2-litre NA V8 swapping for a 5.5-litre NA V8), it has so much more power. You see, this is no regular V8… Chevrolet have taken a Ferrari 458 engine, reverse-engineered it, and given it 100hp more. As a result, the Z06 pumps out an eye-watering 670hp, making it the most powerful naturally-aspirated V8 in the world!!
The Z06 starts from around $100,000, which is around $40,000 more than the regular C8 Corvette. So is it worth it? You’ll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself!

We’ve got our hands on the all-new Audi RS6 Performance, and we’re about to find out if it has what it needs to compete with Mat’s new long-term test car, the Audi R8 Spyder!
So let’s see how the two compare. Starting with the Audi RS6, it’s powered by the same 4-litre twin-turbo V8 as the regular Audi RS6. However, power has been increased slightly over the regular car, and it now produces 630hp and 850Nm of torque. This power is delivered to all-four wheels via an 8-speed torque converter gearbox, and it weighs in at 2,090kg. If you’re looking to pick up an all-new one, it’ll set you back around £113,000.
Then we have the R8. It’s equipped with a 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 which can produce 620hp and 580Nm of torque. This power is delivered to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, and it weighs a fair bit less than the RS6, coming in at 1,695kg.
However, while it’s a lot lighter than the RS6, it’s also a lot more expensive, coming in at around £160,000!
So the RS6 is slightly more powerful, but surely a practical family estate can’t beat a supercar… Right?! There’s only one way to find out - LET’S RACE!

The Audi RS7 is back, with an extra helping of ‘Performance’!
Though you’ll have to be seriously eagle-eyed to spot any visual changes, the real story of this new super saloon lies under the bonnet. With a couple of tweaks to the turbochargers, the RS7 Performance gains 30hp and 50Nm for a total of 630hp and 850Nm.
As a result, the claimed 0-60mph figure drops to 3.4 seconds with top speed electronically capped at 189mph. Some tweaks have been made to the chassis to make the most of that additional power, namely some weight savings in the form of reduced sound deadening and the standard inclusion of rear-wheel steering.
Inside, you’re met with a familiar interior - albeit with some new stitching options and a little more technology as standard.
All this extra goodness comes at a price though, with the Audi RS7 Performance starting at £116,545. That’s almost £20,000 more than before!
Is it worth the extra cost? Stick with Mat and find out…

The time has come for Mat to say goodbye to the Audi TT RS!
He’s got his hands on the new Audi TT RS Iconic Edition - a limited-edition TT which is the last one Audi will ever produce! The question is, does this last-ever TT RS do its predecessors justice?!
Well when it comes to the design, there are a few notable changes. Starting around the back the Iconic Edition comes equipped with a huge carbon fibre spoiler which is mounted to the car with a swan neck design. The rear diffuser has also become more pronounced and has had carbon added to it. Around the side, there are extended side skirts, and at the front, there’s an extended splitter, more additional carbon, and matrix LED headlights now come as standard.
So there are a couple of notable additions to the outside, but it’s a different story on the inside! The TT RS Iconic Edition comes with the RS styling pack, although whereas this would normally lead to the inclusion of red stitching throughout the car, in this instance it’s coloured yellow… And that’s it! Otherwise, the interior is just the same as a regular TT RS.
Unfortunately, there aren’t any changes to be found under the bonnet either! Lift up the hood and you’ll find the same 2.5-litre 5-cylinder turbo as in a regular TT RS, with the power output also remaining the same, at 400hp and 480Nm. In terms of the chassis, it has been lowered slightly and comes equipped with stiffer suspension, but otherwise, the car pretty much matches the regular edition.
So there are a few changes, but nothing huge. So that begs the question - is it really worth the eye-watering £87,650 price tag?! And keep in mind, that’s £27,000 more than a regular TT RS! You’ll need to stick with Mat and see for yourself!

It’s time to find out which luxury electric car will take you the further - the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53, or the BMW i7!
We’ve got Mat and Daniel (the presenter from @carwowDeutschland) in both of these cars, they’ve been fully charged, and they’re going to drive them continuously up a British motorway until the batteries are fully depleted!
So let’s see how the two compare. Starting with the Mercedes, we’ve got the top-of-the-range Mercedes-AMG EQS 53. As a result it comes equipped with two electric motors that can produce 658hp and 950Nm of torque. However, this car also has a £9,000 performance pack added to it, so the power output has been increased to 750hp and 1,020Nm!
The EQS is also equipped with a 107.8kWh battery pack that is good for a claimed range of 357 miles. Naturally, it’s pretty heavy, weighing in at 2,580kg, and an AMG EQS fitted with the £9,000 performance pack will cost around £170,000.
Next up we have the BMW. It’s the 760i edition, and just like the EQS it’s also equipped with two motors. The power output is 544hp and 745Nm of torque. It’s heavier than the EQS, at 2,640kg, and it has a 102kWh battery pack that’s good for a claimed range of 385 miles. Given it’s not the i7M (which isn’t available to buy yet), it’s cheaper than the EQS, starting from £110,000.
So which will go further - the BMW, or the AMG? Comment with your guess, then sit back and see which wins!

Porsche drag races don’t get any better than this!
We’ve got our hands on the all-new, limited edition Porsche 911 Dakar, and it’s joined by a whole host of different Porsches for a drag race on mud!
We’ve got our hands on a 911 Dakar, 911 Carrera 4 GTS, Macan GTS, Taycan Cross Truism, Cayenne e-hybrid and a first-get Cayenne S, and we’re about to find out whether the 911 Dakar can truly leave them in the dust!
So let’s see how they all compare. Starting with the Carrera 4 GTS, it comes packing a 3-litre twin-turbo flat-six that can deliver 480hp and 570Nm of torque through all four wheels. In terms of weight, it comes in at around 1,600kg. The 911 Dakar is based on this car, so it comes with the same engine, power output and weight. However, it’s got a number of updates over the standard car! It’s been lifted, and comes with an updated chassis and bespoke off-road tyres, just to name a few of the changes.
The second race features the Macan GTS and the Taycan Cross Turismo. The Macan is packing a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 that can put down 440hp and 550Nm of torque. It delivers this power to all four wheels and weighs in at 1,960kg. Alongside it, we have the all-electric Taycan Cross Turismo, which has two electric motors that produce 571hp and 650Nm, and it weighs in at 2,245kg.
Finally, we have the two Cayennes. The first-gen is a Cayenne S that’s had a whole load of mods done to it to make it capable of tackling an off-road course. In terms of power, it’s packing a 4.5-litre V8 that can put down 340hp and 420Nm. When it comes to weight, it tips the scales at 2,150kg. And last but by no means least, we have the Cayenne e-Hybrid. It’s powered by a 3-litre turbocharged V6 and an electric motor, which combine to produce 462hp and 700Nm. Naturally, it’s pretty heavy, coming in at around 2,300kg.
So will it be a clean sweep for the Dakar? Or could another car sneak a win? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!

We know you’ve been waiting for this one!
We’ve got two incredible Ferrari hybrid supercars going head-to-head over the quarter-mile! The question is, can the newer 296 GTB beat the almighty tri-motor SF90? Well, let’s take a closer look.
Starting with the 296 GTB, it’s powered by a 3-litre twin-turbo V6 coupled with an electric motor. These drive the rear wheels and combine to produce 830hp and 740Nm of torque. It still remains pretty light, tipping the scales at 1,470kg.
Then we have the SF90. It comes equipped with a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 coupled with three electric motors - two at the front and one at the back. Combined, they produce an eye-watering 1,000hp and 800Nm, pushing this power through all four wheels. It’s a bit heavier than the 296 GTB, though, at 1,570kg.
So how will this play out? The SF90 may have more power, but the 296 is lighter! Will the weight difference prove to be decisive? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!

#carwow #ferrari #296gtb #sf90 #dragrace #cars #car #exotic #auto #gearhead #automobiles
